Default Woo Hoo! Looks like we'll have a Regional show next year!

Had confirmation today that the National RS Club will support the Beds Group having their first Regional Day in February next year

There's a little more negotiation to go thru at the potential venue this coming Thursday and once that's sorted we've got the all clear

Thanks guys for all the positive support, we know we've got a lot on our plate but we're all determined to make a go of this show.

As soon as we have confirmed details they will be posted.

For those who a regulars to track days, can I ask, do you prefer to have am and pm track passes, or full day passes? (either way we want to make them as cheap as possible)

Is a good idea to have the chance to pick track time in the am/pm sessions.

With me,i would book a p.m one probably,so i don't have to leave the house at 5/6am.

With the p.m session i could have a nice slow drive down, see the show and be on track.

Well, that's my veiw on it.

Snow mobiles.....

As with everything you cannot guarantee the weather.

Anyway they close the track and rebook for another day for track goers

Splitting the tracktime to am/pm sessions is only worth doing if you can't get a good price on the track. I mean, it would be a shame to make it one expensive ticket for all day.
Depends on what it'd cost for the day IMO. The Redline all day track pass has been a bargain Ł99 but I don't know if Renton subsidises that or not?
Also, you might be pushed filling up all of the slots over 2 sessions. Although I'll do all day anyway, so will PON and a few others.
Cheers

At the moment we are looking at Ł80 per car for a full day (max 50 cars)

Steve,

That's an excellent price, and like the rapidly balding Newts says, I would be there

Could probably count most of the usual track regulars - excellent idea if you want my opinion, expecially for displaying cars as it's all hard standing, and the facilities are VERY good.

Really hope this goes ahead, and I reckon on it being very well supported - also because the track location is good, and the track itself is very open with reasonable spectator points, it makes an easy transition for those who want to watch some track action and then have a wander round the group stands.

Only thing I would say re: the track action is make sure you get the slightly finer but very important details so there is no confusion like previous times re: DB levels, passenger ages etc etc

I have been given the sound restrictions as follows:

87db driveby, 101db static

We had also previously been advised that there was a restriction on the number of people allowed on the site at any one time - but this has since been lifted.

Im led to believe that we can have up to 100 cars on track at any one time, with this in mind, the more track passes we can sell the cheaper it becomes for everyone.

We will check on the finer details later this week.
