take a look at the new 207 gti will be out end of the year, its will be powerd by a 1.6 turboed enginge producing 180bhp!!

Remember the 205 gti only has 128 and that would still stand up quite well against those cars.

 

i read that the rally version for the 2000 super cup is 280bhp, 1.6t with 180bhp in a car that small will be really fast, just remember the frst only had 130bhp and they are rapid

 

It won't up against the VXR or the ST though will it. The 307 would be pitched against the Astra, Focus and Golf. The 207 is Fiesta sized...

 

anyway the fiesta st is only 150bhp so it will have 30bhp more that that standard

 

surely the 106 /107 is fiesta size 1007 is KA size

No, it wouldn't.

 

It's French. Which means it'll look pretty, have the worst plastic interior and build quality imaginable, will handle and go well but I still have this memory of French cars that folded up at 30 in the 80's..........so I wouldn't trust one any further than I could throw it.

I thought the 107 was KA sized to be honest. The 307 is the direct market competitor for the Focus and other manufacturers equivelants. I just thought the 1007 was a dodgy spin off all on it's own
