I'd say go for a GRS front mount IC mate, have heard they go on without much bother and do the job even on huge power RST's.

after that i'd look into some head work and an uprated turbo.

hope this helps

depends on the tuner what an exact stage means, but head work involves porting and polishing the head, usually fitting bigger valves & better guides. Just allows more freeflow, 8v head is stupidly restricting.

a head is usually specced to your turbo etc. If you know what you want the car doesn't have to be off the road long, a good idea would be to talk to a tuner NMS, Jampsport, Motorsport Developments etc they'l discuss what you're after performance wise and once booked in should have ot done pretty quickly.

fundamental difference is one cools with air one with water...

go for a big intercooler IMO mate, makes life easier and will be cheaper overall.

i have a radtec front mount and as regards to your car cutting out, sounds as tho the chip aint doing its job. thats the ecu cutting power due to your car hitting the factory ste boost limit. Stu and the boys should be able to sort it for ya mate

why do chips go fucked? cos the car's been chipped for a few years and it's run fine till just christmas. thing is it doesn't cut at a sertain ammount of boost, it'll cut out at 0 boost and it'll cut out at 1.5 bar of boost there doesn't seem to be a certain ammount, plus i,ve changed the ecu to a standard one and it does the same and i've turned the boost down and it makes no difference
