Default inlet help / suggestions please (ZT)

im in the shit at the mo with my inlet

its a rover inlet on a zetec engine. the fiesta rst TB is 70mm. and the gap between the TB and the brake res is about 65mm, or 80mm if you take into account the neck on the TB. it also need to come from 70mm on the throttle body end, to 51mm to the intercooler hose.

1st of all i tried roose, he made a 70mm 90degree bend hose with a reducer on the end, but the hose is about 85mm thick, so it just dont fit inbetween

so lee @fusion made me this as a trial fit, 70mm 90 degree metal hose, and it still just hits the brake res

anybody else encountered this problem? or can any1 suggest anything

cheers, ian

Cant remember how exactly the servo was mounted on the fiesta now but thought it was 2 bolts to the body could the servo be re-bracketed further across the engine bay by an inch or so by fabbing a relocating bracket?

Try fitting an angled spacer between the inlet and TBody that angles the TB so yuo can join the hose 'behind' the servo. That's what Ian Howell's custom one does (but obviously doesn't use a spacer).

That would work anyway I should guess.
