worn out cam followers????????

Default worn out cam followers????????

on a s2 that was fitted with a 285 cam kit etc BUT has only lasted about 6/7 mths and the followers on number 4 cylinder have sort of mushroomed in the middle!

any idea as to why/how this has happened?

Badly run in? poor oil pressure? didnt hold the revs at 3k rpm for 20 mins when it was installed?

becuase, the quality of CVH cams's is WANK, and the oil supply to the head is TOSS

as rick said cvh have very poor oil supply to the head mate , iv had 2 285t2 on my s2 as a lobe on the first cam disintergrated ..piper gave full refund people also dont realise that the life of a high lift cam is very short..

6/7 months is good, seen them worn after a month

what would/could be the outcome on this? as the engine was fine prior this job being done? ie how/what's the chance of it getting done on a warranty/guarrantee or is it a case of it's NOT the garages fault and my m8 will just have to get a new kit! and hope it last abit longer!
