Thanks for the help, burton do one for Ł495 with Ł200 surcharge and pj motorsport list a new one for escort turbo for Ł395, it doesn't mention a surcharge but I would expect one. I've e-mailed turbo technics to ask for a price so I'll post that on here when I get a reply incase these prices are of any use to anyone else.

I've heard of that turbo active but a mate of mine went down for a one for his renault 5. They said they didn't wanna sell him one cause they're sick of young lads getting turbos, thinking they're bullet proof cause they're new, killing them then taking them back so I haven't bothered.

Does anyone have any experience of fitting a series 2 turbo to a series 1 becuase a series 2 will have the water feed that mine doesn't. If I'm buying a new one I will get one for a series 1 but there is an ad in the trader section of this web site for a stage 3 hybrid for sale for Ł350 but it's for a series 2. It mentions that the water feed is snapped, does anyone know how important this would be to the turbo because I was wondering if it's possible to put this turbo on without a water feed.

if it's designed with a water feed it would be advisable to keep the water feed!!
