You need to use washing up liquid on it mate.Work it into the carpet gently using a nail brush and then rinse well with clean water. This will needed to be done a few times.Works well as its basically what they use on birds caught up in oil spills.Regards Micky

my mate bought a tub of oil and it was in the boot of his cossie. Opened the boot when he got home and found the oil everywhere. Turns out the cap was dodgy. He called to complain at the place he just bought it from and they offered to replace and give him vouchers or summat. back he goes for second tub of oil having eventually cleaned up the first lot. Few days later what happens?

yes tub 2 is all over boot floor

cleaning it up once was bad enough but twice?

lol @ my typing foot wheel!

Yeah Doo i was having a VERY bad day that day! I was coming home in the cossie after still not having fixed a leak with a freshly opened tin of Castrol oil in passenger footwell. I was going up the road and some twat overtoke a car comeing the other way and i had to swerve to miss him. curbed two alloys and on hitting the curb tipped the oil I was not a happy bunny!
