Hello guys I bought stevenEBM's 1.9cvh off here,
Its a Escort Turbo Engine and currently fitted to my MK1 Fez,
I was wondering what sort of max boost should it safely run?
I have been told that the 195bhp chip makes the 1.9cvh engines run lean?
Im hardly running any boost just now, what route should I go?
Managment?
Bleed valve or stay with the AMAL valve?

Heres the spec of the engine:

1.9cvh
balanced 88mm cast iron crank
forged connecting rods
hi duty big end bearings
floating small bearings
83mm mahle pistons
hi flow oil pump
stage 3 head
double valve springs
bronze valve guides
hi flow water pump
fast road cam.
ava print out at 200bhp at only 14psi

What management is on it now?

OFAB & C are fine when mapped properly.

 

That engine was fit to run up to 19psi as it had fuel mod's done by AVA..but,you dont have the Fuel ECU do you?

Thats a good strong engine you have there chap!

 

Dont know what mangement!! I think it is just standard!

Can I still get the standard set up mapped?
