Default MK 6 Diesel fiesta

MY mums fiesta went into ford today and they said the seals are gone in one of the injectors and they quoated £280 to replace one injector, anyone ever replaced an injector in a fiesta? Is it a simple enough job?

Its not the sumptons it more the noise, everytime it compresses u can hear the air coming out. Went into ford today to see what was wrong and the gave her it back without the airbox even put back on.

The fault you have is common as muck with the 1.4 tdci fiesta the injector seals perish under the seat hence why you can hear compression escaping if it has fried the injector body yes it will need changing and they also have to be programmed to the pcm via WDS hence why it is so costly .

Hope that helps

Regards Doug .
