Hello everyone. I have a 1.8 ZVHT Fiesta, I'm using a 195bhp Superchip at the moment but guess this probably isn't the best. Can anyone advise of a more suitable chip please, or do I stick with what I've got? I know I could get it live mapped but haven't really got the pennies for this yet! Cheers for any advice.

 

The 195 chip will be very lean as its VE table is set for a 1.6cvh and will create problems for you very soon if not changed ASAP, especially if you have a T3 or larger as well.

Most decent Ford tuners can supply an EEC map far better suited to your 1800 engine than you have currently.

Thanks Stu. Yes I do have a T3, only running it at 7psi at the mo as I thought it was a bit risky, do have an uprated fuel pump & beige injectors.
Hopefully you will be getting a phonecall in the next month or so to see about booking it in for a RR setup.
