I was thinking about that the other day...

I remember thinking how cool 200 would be

now my mini is nearly 200 and my everyday car is about 300

Yes im a member & was in their team at TOTB last year.
Kieth Cowie is a member of their team this year.
Its for cars over 200bhp not 200mph as many believe.
Chris who runs it is on this Forum.

Was 200bhp per tonne, as back in the day they had some fast, light weight members cars.

I think they do a trackday almost every other weekend

Nice bunch of lads and as Stu said, they created and run TOTB.

See i was right

"The only membership requirement is that your car must be rated at or deliver 200BHP or more!!!
(Flywheel figures are acceptable. We also accept cars with over 200bhp/tonne). "

Think 200+ club offer places to select cars that are not in any other team for various reasons as well as their own members. I was asked last year & again this but have declined this year. It is well documented that i believe the RSOC should enter the RS teams not Passion Ford who are just another Ford forum. Im in a minority & except that, but i would not wish be a member of such a team if selected, pity cos i have time & respect for MikeR, this is not a dig just a Personal decision.

Fair comment mate... but why should ford be represented purley by the RS Marque? especially in the FWD Class I know for a fact there are some Crazy little XR2's being built that will more than hold there own against a lardy RST..

Not wishing to start an argument matey, just thinking allowed

You do talk a load of rubbish at times. People, especially 200+ club members are invited to run for them as Andy was in 2003 and Rod was last year/this year, nothing to do with disliking the owners club they'd be in.

200+ club is still very much alive and well!

original entry requirement was 200bhp, this was extended to cars with 200bhp/tonne. average of the cars is prob 250-300bhp anyway.

totb team is usually all club members, however last year i slotted in 1 or 2 cars who for whatever reason wanted to run for us. keith cowie will probably be running on his own this year and not for any team, but thats up to keith to decide. he'll score points for whatever team he runs in, as well as individually. he can also run as a pure invite car for no team if he wants, as defending champion he gets invited back to do as he pleases!

if we'd had keith in 200+ club last year we'd prob have finished 2nd on team points instead of 3rd, but we were chuffed with 3rd place overall anyway.
