A long shot, but i know a couple of pets have been succesfully rehomed on here, so worth a try.

The story is, my cousin has a 9month old springer spaniel which he is trying to rehome. He is looking to rehome as he obviously didnt realise the amount of attention a young dog needs etc ( ). Not the dogs fault at all, but i would like to try and get him into a good home rather than just give him to the first person that asks.

He has a lovely temperament and is very loving and affectionate. I have been seriously toying with the idea of taking him myself, but with the imminent arrival of another dog, i dont think i could house them both.

He is brown and white, 9 months old, so still has a bit of puppy left in him even though he has grown to the size of an adult springer now.

Get your cousin to get in contact with Springer Rescue They might have a list of people wanting a Springer.

That would be the best way to go as these will proberbly do home checks aswell to make sure the dog is going to a good home

we are planning to get one, just not yet, was going to get the malamute 1st, but if a pup is in need of a home, i may be able to twist Neil round my little finger.

I had a springer ages ago - he died about 3 years ago but I miss him sooooo much.

We were getting the garden ready for the arrival of a malamute, so we do need to get a few things done ahead of schedule (ie making the garden safe). So fingers crossed we will have the funds now to do it all and be able to take this springer. Unfortuantely its a big garden and will take a fair few quid to make it safe (a whole new fence and nooks and cranies he will be able to find and escape!)
