Mastiffs are a bit big mate, females are OK but males...... enormous. My mate the paddy's got a male - 13 stone, about 3ft high and does £60 a week in food...............lovely dog though, so good. Looks a bit mean but all you get is slobbered to death............

A bull mastiff is where its at big but not bouncy, its allright having a smaller dog but my 12 stone bully is` a better house dog than my old boarder collie which is half its size

Get a pup from a dogs home,
IMO they are a much better dog than a 'bred' dog.

Our little shit is awesome, proper friendly, great with kids (essential) and soft as you like,
Its as though she is grateful we saved her from the lethal jab

Really. Surpose it really depends how you treat them.. Labs are usually nice and docile. Fairly quiet, spend a while sleeping and wake up for food and walkies. Thats about it.

They're good company and great for a cuddle too

Staffs are wicked if you have kids, as they will let the kids pull them round and that and not get pissed off in the slightest. Apparently they are one of the only dogs the kenel club say are good with small children. My gf's one is tops and soppy as fook.

I have a jack russel and a boarder collie crossed with greyhound. The jack russel get pissed off well easy but is still tops and the other one has far to much energy and cant keep still, if you take him for walk he will run around like a crazed lunatic chasing burds even if they are flying lol. Love em both to bits though.

There is a bloke that comes in my local with American Bulldog and its proper immense. Its fookin huge and built like a brick shit house. Its like a mutant staff on steroids. Its head is a big as mine buts its got such a good temprement and is really chilled. Its name is "Tank" lol. Id have one of them or a rocky if i had a choice of a new dog.
