Default are performance ford talking shite?

just reading their injector technical write up and they give the formula: (engine hp x bsfc (0.6-0.7 for turbo motor) x 10.5) / (number of injectors x injector duty cycle (typically 0.8))
so out of interest i put in a 400bhp cossie engine so 400bhp,4 injectors, bsfc at 0.7 and the figure it gave was 918! is that right? as greys are 500cc/min not bloody 920! whats up here?

not read it, but with sequential injection u need bigger injectors, due to the limited time u have when the inlet valve is open.

Rick,

Not true mate, the optimum time for fuel injection with sequential injection is when the valve is shut as this aids fuel atomisation through injecting fuel onto the hot valve. The exact optimum timing for injection differs with rpm but it is never with inlet valve open.

In addition you are incorrect about the lack of time to inject. Sequential can also have as much time to inject as batch fire as it is possible to hold the injector open for virtually the entire 4 stroke cycle when seeking maximum fuel flow.
