map sensor identification
Just looking around under the bonnet on my 4x4 sapphire I know it has greens in it and was wondering how to check if it has a three bar map sensor. The one fitted has a black base and a light grey top half? Just trying to sort on my 20ish miles to a tenner problem (and thats when taking it easy)
you have a3bar map sensor fitted IIRC. the fuel consumption may be down to a dodgy water temp sensor, thats what was eating all the petrol in mine.its the blue sensor back of the engine nr the dipstick.only £20 brand new!
im sure if you asked on here there is a way to test it,but for £20 i would just change it.its really easy its just a case of unscrewing the old out and screwing the new one in. you ve got to think if its never been changed its chance to be at least 16yr old
