Very Strange Day
Last Wednesday I went to Southampton with a friend to look at a Ford Escort RS 2000 4 x 4 ( P reg ), my friend paid for the car and we duly went home, everything went well the RS performed perfectly, its in excellent condition ( 50,000 miles on clock) and can not fault the car in any way, so I thought my friend has got his new toy and that's the end of the tale. At 11am this morning ( Sunday ) he called round to see me, his wife hates the colour of the car ( white ) and demanded he gets rid of it, the dealer has offered £ 2,500 to take the car back, my friend paid £3,650, for the time being I put the car in my garage and I hope his wife comes round, if not its goes back. I have been looking for an RS as well, but in late August I have to have an operation to correct cruciate ligament damage so no driving for several months, my wife says offer to pay for the car and leave it in the garage untill fit to drive, so do I buy the car for what my friend paid ?, offer £3,250 ?, or take the car back ?.
