Default S2 popping & cutting out

This has happened a few times now and starting to get a bit more frequant.

It'll pop with the revs dropping and stall. If you keep blipping the throttle to try keep it running it will pop.
Also then when you try starting it back up it will turn over, sometimes starting and then sometimes not evan a click. Leve it for a bit and will turn over.

Any ideas what it could be?

Once I've been driving for a bit. Does it anywhere after 2500rpm on or off boost. Going over bumps seem to play a majour part in it aswell.

Yeah I thought it was over fueling but would of thought it would cause it not to start up straight away after cutting out

I'd personally say its a loose connection somewhere, when you say sometimes theres not even a click when trying to re-start? Can you expand a little more on that? Are the dash lights always on?

Yeah the dash lights will always come on. The engine will turn over a couple of times then when you turn the key about a third time it wont do any thing cept for the lights on the dash comeing on.

mate this happened to my S2.
after spending money on a fuel pump and relay, spark plugs and leads new boost hose.

it turned out to be:

the Distributer body.

unscrew the two screws put a 2nd hand one or newy one on and bet you have no probs.
