spark prob

Default spark prob

hi there do any of you know why i havent got spark as iv cheaked the coil and dissy for a live and there one but no spark have put in new plugs and coil etc cant really figure it out why i havent got any spark?any help pls guys

the long green wire that goes to the coil runs all the way to the ecu these sometimes break try and test it put a live at the coil end and test it at the ecu plug

try a rotor arm but first check if you got a spark direct from the coil

hi yes have cheaked the coil and all is ok but it the modual on top of the dissy it has a fanit live and earth but as soon a it cranks over it dies out hav tried ecus and the wire has not bean broke etc it fine once probed up just not when it to the ecu?????any more ideas thanks for the other thow??????

have you tried a different dizzy? the hall sensor is prone to going!

yes have tried two differnet dizzys and still no luck will the sensors on the back of the inlet be trouble?
other not is that at the hall sensor it dosent have a very good live and very dim netrual but when we crank it over its gone but we also tried two ecus that come off my other rs so they are in good working order?we also undone the ecu and put a prob done the line to see if have a brake in the line ans was fine and at the dissy end it show a +/- witch iv notice the -is + and + is - stange in know but for some reson it like it do any of you have a clue whats going on????were running out of ideas thanks for the replys ?????

also another note my guys on the case think the knock sensors the prob they dont belive me it the green sensor at the inlet side is theis right or am i wrong????we got a pint on this im very sure its a knock sensor pls correct me if iam wrong???????

yes its the green one at the side of the plenum chamber(inlet manifold)

Are the dizzy's you tried known and good working ones? The fault you describe is very much like the hall effect sensor in the dizzy isnt telling the coil to fire. Check the wiring from the top of the dizzy too
