Hi,

I have been hunting around this weekend for a 2.0l zetec for a turbo conversion for my s1.

I have been offered an engine from a 53 reg focus will this do the job or is it easier/better to get 1 from a mondeo.

I would prefer a late series 3 zetec as it has solid lifters and a few other bits that the older engines do not have, but does this cause any prblems with the conversion.

Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

 

Starter is in the wrong place on the focus lump depending what you want to do.

Early mondeo engine is the best basis using some of the 1600 and or 1800 parts inside.
