I was told the std MK5 bootlid does fit, if you are fitting it to a big turbo though you need to drill two holes on the sides, so the top whaletail can be mounted.
standard tailgate will fit, only difference the cossie one has is inner frame has indents in the inner frame where the top spoiler bolts come through, but as your going wrc this won't be a problem
