Yes, it is a fact, SRF is highly Hydroscopic. Competition don't go any longer than 2-3 months without changing it, making it HIGHLY expensive.

This is a very high performance Dot 4 brake fluid designed to perform at the extreme temperatures generated under race conditions.

It is a strong competitor for Castrol SRF.

It is noted that SRF is one of the best brake fluids available, but its major downfall is that it is very Hydroscopic, which means that it takes on moisture very easily. This results in the need for it to be totally changed every 3-4 months for optimum performance.

710 is far less hydroscopic, so can be changed less frequently. It also boasts a Dry Boiling Point figure in excess of 300°C, just like SRF.

Price is Ł10.99 per 1/2 Litre (around 1.5 - 2 litres is needed for a complete fluid change).
