Saph 4x4 valuation
Can anyone give an opinion on the value of this car:-
1991 4x4, moonstone, leather, 95k all history and mot's. 3 owners. Never chipped, only mod is a quick shift, even ford exhaust. totally standard. no accidents. Bonnett painted becaused of stone chips other than that no paint.
Thanks
Pete

Thanks for responding. The engine is sound, not even expected tappet noise. I think it's been well looked after and serviced and never abused. Rare!!! No rust at all, always garaged. My concern is that most saphs are now well modified and / or rebuilt and maybe these are the ones that fetch higher prices. Do you feel that a standard un-abused example is still worth good money?
Let me know
Thanks

Me personally would go for a un-modiffied/un-abused example...which i did. Mine had original ford exhaust on and everything else standard apart from the wheels, and i payed 6k, but mine's only done 60k. But the ones that sell quicker are the modified ones for some reason. All cosworths. wether there modded or standard will eventually need a rebuild, or people would want a rebuilt engine. You should still expect to fetch around 5.5k for her matey
