still in two minds to sell this car or not as i work every weekend and wont get to any shows please help me decide what to do as i know i would not get another like this

my series 1 rs. this car is not concours but is mint with only 51k on the clock and all the MOT`s to back this up it has had a 1.9 conversion, uprated clutch,piper crss air filter, brand new konis, dash is uncraked, 4 spoke rs steering wheel, rear disc conversion, alloy header tank,alloy strut brace, chrome rocker cover,chrome charge carrier, chrome fuse box cover, stainless steel exhaust, new refurbed 7 spoke alloys with Pirelli rubber, dump valve, blue samco`s. This car has a folder full of recipts and a photgrapic folder of the restore that has been carried out in the past, the interior is mint with no marks what so ever. This car lives in a garage with seat covers, towels on the dash and a car cover












i have proberbly forgot some other bits to mention, im open to offers

2 or 3 years ago my mate sold his working class concourse S1 3 owners, similar mileage, Turbo technics were the 1st owner. B reg.
Won the 2 events it competed in

He got 5750 for it.
Basically the asking price.

I am not saying that this is worth the same, or less or more.. just giving you an idea of a similar car.

 

Get the orange indicators, spot lights and some ford dealer plates back on it. Make it look exactly like it would have leaving the factory. It will then sell in no time.

 

Be a shame to get rid mate but can see your point. Sometimes wonder whether having mine garaged for 5 months a year makes sense but then i remember the looks you get in the summer and the big smile i have on me chops when i do take her out and it all seems worth it ! lol

You gotta ask yourself how you would feel seeing someone else drive off in it.

i sold my concours S1 fot 6k last year and i have regreted it ever since. it was just getting too much having to polish the under side every week in the summer.

U fancy a g plate saph with330 bhp. stage 3 with greens etc. years mot and 6 months tax

The only thing is i know if i sell it , i will never get one in this condition and mileage again i mean it has reciepts for everything i mean everything and a folder full of pics from the restore

I know where your coming from, got a mint series one sitting in the garage, also got a saff cossie aswell, one has to go this summer but I dunno which one yet..

 

i even turned a lad down on sat when it was on ebay who had £5000 plus, with him in cash

 

i would buy it for when i passed my test but unfortunately insurance would b way too high

i can't wait til im 21
