RS turbo - Lost V5
I am looking at buying a 1989 Series 2 RS Turbo.
The seller has lost the V5 - will this cause me any problems ??
When checking the car what checks can I do to ensure it is genuine - how can I check that the VIN number is genuine ??
Any help would be appreciated

check rivets on the tags and floor number in the floor if they look good then askin old bill will be the next step, they will tell you if its nicked or wanted
lost v5's never bother me, it susually cos the seller is makin money on it(or trying to so are still waitin on v5 to come back, or they just lost it) so you bid em way below what they want and see what deal comes out of it all
write to dvla and they will give you a new un for 19 quids, theiving coonts
