Default Bouncing Rev counter

Hi all, i have a strange problem with my rev counter,
When i rev the engine in neutral, the rev counter works fine.
But when i drive the car, and put the pedal to the metal :P, the rev counter bounces up and down.
ive replaced all sorts of things of the ingnition, but with no result.
I even bought a seperate rev counter, tried it with new wiriring, but same thing happend.
Im al out of idea's now,
Greetz

Rev cables?

The rev counter feed comes from a green wire located on the ignition coil. if you've already tried replacing the rev counter with no luck then the problem must be within that green wire. Check for any damage, could be a break in the wire from old age possibly.

Hi m8, ive replaced the green wire from the ignition up to the recently bought rev counter.
So i think the problem has something to do with the ignition itself.
Because sometimes it seems, when the counter goes crazy, the power output of the engine also goes up and down.
but i dont know for sure .
i will try another ignition, and if that won't fix the problem, im going to replace all the wiriring what has something to do with the ingnition.
