Default Cossie problem

Hello,

Got a weird problem with my Saph Cossie 4x4.

It runs fine and then al of a sudden it runs very bad like it's getting not enough fuel, when i don't hit the gas it stalles, but when i keep the pedal on it runs not good.
It also sometimes happens when it idles, then it drops in revs and shuts down or revs again.

Any ideas??????

try adjusting the base idle on the bottom of the throttle body, you want to disconnect the iscv plug then set this to around 850 rpm. this should then prevent the engine stalling.

gotta be worth a look dude all i did was bridge the switch to eliminate it i.e take the plug off the sensor and put a wire across the plug to make a circuit

hi there mate
i would clean the idle control valve first just undo the two small bolts and it should just pull out but will be tight use something like brake cleaning fluid if this fails to sort it try a new water temp sensor

Put another ECU in it,runs much better now, starts fine, only thing is it's a standard one.Now just checking the fuel pressure cos it was using also to much.
