just got my insurance this morn, but all i have is the peice of the V5 that i filled out when i brought the car. can i use that to get my car tax IE insurance, MoT and that bit of V5???
or do i have to wait for the complete V5

Yes should be ok, other wise they will make u fill out an aplication form but i expect that will be fine the green slip.

as long as its within 2mths of buying the car you can tax it

if its outside of 2mths they wont let you

i was lazy when i bought one of my cars before and i had to change the date cos i couldnt tax it lol
