Default Group A ignition coil??

Have just purchased a group A coil to replace the standard one and to see if it also stops the spluttering that im experiencing. But went to change it over and the connections on the exsisting standard one are /look the wrong type for the new group A coil???? Please help.

Thought so mate but wanted some experienced persons view Would you use just the 1 spade connection for each of the '+' and '-'?? As the group A coil has 2 terminal connections for each??? Get what i mean??

is it always on boost mate? i had similar and i already had new leads. we replaced dizzy cap(3 times lol ), plugs, regapped the plugs, Gp A coil and still summat wasnt right. the rotor arm was fucked and was spinning freely on the shaft

since then i moved on to a different splutter which is gettin on my tits. think its a fuel pump issue tho so ive sorted out a new one to get delivered.

I have spent a fortune on mine with sensors lately and i still get it now and again

I personally think its the cack engine bay wiring loom fooked cos of the heat ,they are known for it !!!

Also the 3 multiplugs at the bulkhead above rocker cover can be the prob ,unplug and clean the connections but also check the state of the wires all round the engine as they do go brittle and fook up !!

Got a few jobs to do then im off to rollers for a set up and take it from there ,prob get a new engine bay loom tho

Hope the set up goes well for ya millsyscossie and wont result to a engine bay loom. Wanted to test mine out today, but fook getting out in the rain have checked the 3 sensors above the rocker cover....improved the splutters but didnt resolve the problem
