Default STAGE 3 BITS FITTED GETTING IT SETUP TOMORROW (RESULTS)

I know it`s no 500bhp monster(hopefully in a year or 2) but can`t wait untill tomorrow when i get her setup.at the moment it`s stage 1 running around 11psi of boost (still went quite well for what it was) est around 250/260bhp.

Just finshed fitting me stage 3 bits hopeing for around 330bhp that will keep me happy for now
rebuilt bluesprit engine 4000 miles ago
(low comp)
new T3
MSD chip
greens 803`s
dash 31
3 bar
ngk 9`s
exhaust & filter etc..

Do you reckon i see 330bhp with a T3(holding 22psi) ?

will prob be between 310 and 320bhp m8

the turbo will be holding you back on the power and so will the intercooler imo.

well reckon with one of stu's chips its gonna be around the 320ish mark, seeing as its a good chip
the turbo cant really push much more out ,otherwise i'd be running a 330 brake stage1

I had greens, standard turbo, 3 bar, and chip on mine and it made 290bhp and 286lbfts.
Was quick but the turbo was cack for top end lol (T28 or T25, whatever rouse turbo is lol)

maybe back in the good old days of leaded 4 star

these days most stage1 cossie's are less than 280bhp

but there are the exceptions

anyway the point i was making is that @ 22psi even 280bhp will feel quick

The T3 runs out of puff about 320bhp as me and Pops have proved. So i would say it will be around that mark

And if it is anything like ours is, you will fucking love it

I think Tiff and Pops are right. Mine made 325bhp with 315lbs/ft but that was with an intercooler as well.

will feel so much quicker though, the jump from my stg 1 to stg 3 was wicked

if your car is a rouse then it will be really cack compared to your original set up.the only time it would have been better is higher up the rev range range in the higher gears, but not if your running greens through a low comp engine
the whole idea of the rousesport is small turbo equals quick spool up equals rapid acceleration from start, if you go for a t34 it will seem like an age before the turbo kicks in compared to the T28,
can i ask who suggested getting a low comp engine to run green injectors ? cheers nomad

Probably got a rebuild done and wanted more power at a later date, so use greens for now and it can be upgraded at a later date for big bhp.

that is what i got advised when rebuilding mine but i don't want to go any more power so i opted for standard comp in mine.

Dave.

when i bought the car(gennunie rouse car build 52)_ it already had this new T3 fitted

I thought it had a T25 turbo fitted as standerd to the rouse.
I know a T28 is more or less the same i know of a new t28 hybrid that i may buy as you said thats the all idea of the rouse.
As thats what i want quick acceleration.

will a t28 spoon up a lot qiucker then what bhp would i see running T28 greens.

As for the low comp pistons there where fiited when engine was beening rebuilt have not a clue can`t you use low comp on greens

As said mine was fast on a standard rouse turbo and greens, even beat steve scotts focus half way up the pod lol, but still lost by 1 or 2 seconds
Only thing is, it got to about 130 really quick but after that it took a while to get to 150 due to the turbo so I was told.
Was a good spec if ya want quick acceleration and not bothered about top end.

I was running about 1.5bar i think.
