coming on boost
At the moment my Rs turbo comes on and starts boosting really early, 5psi or so at 1500rpm- its fully spooled up at 2000rpm which is 9/10psi
Any idea wot turbo, setup etc i may be running as they usually boost at 3k, correct me if i'm wrong though
i've got some details of the engine spec but nothing on the spec of the turbo etc
any help appreciated

have a look thru old posts and look for big boost to early.
that was from me , ive got the same problem now, ive just had it set up and it now starts boosting at 2100 revs in stead of 1900, well to early.
doubt it will be a t2 as it would need to be converted to take it so a t3 would cost less so doubt its that, could be a stage 2 turbo and hence it boosting early.
on top of that ive been told theres a smaller equivalent of an ecu for the ignition i think not to sure but if this is messed with it can be set to have it boost early, that and a stage 2 would give u what ive got which is 10-12psi of boost kicking at 2100 and starts to fade off at 3600,
why we bother with old cars i dont know

just noticed , your answer is above, lol what stu put above was what i was trying to say but im not in the know.
bad thing is theres no way of checking if its a hybrid easily.

It kicks in at just above 2k but doesn't fade off at all as u've described, pulls right round to 6k pretty well tbh as anybody whos bin passenger will testify
i need to get it setup tbh, maybe it'll become clearer then, tis nice to have it coming in early but a pain when i'm trying to drive off boost as i've got hardly any revs to play with lol
i've got a genuine 'ford racing' boost guage which i've heard is quite accurate besides i can feel it spooling up at low rpms anyhow.

Stage 3 with .63 abarth housing I wouldn't say it was laggy you just have to drive it agressivly
