doh, ive been done then, just looked closely at the cam and i can see a very small ford stamp on it

Fook!! I would say with about 95% certainty that it's a standard Ford cam if it isn't stamped. Where did you get it and how much did you pay? (If you don't mind me asking).

i got it off ebay as a high boost cam kit. it came in the piper cam kit boxes with the lifters,springs etc (thinking they are duff now too...)

how can i tell if its a escort turbo cam ? i see most peeps on here run a standard cam over a high lift one anyway so if its standard, things might not be that bad

Ford doesn't make Piper's cams and what Ford make, they mark it with their logo. It the cam has a Ford logo on it, it's a regular Ford camshaft. Report him to Paypal if you paid with Paypal. Take a picture of the cam.
