MAIN bit of advice is if someone tells you they a pro snapper and gives you their buiness card, that means NOTHING.
Honest to god, for every one REAL snapper there was at TRAX for example, there was five fake ones trying to give their cards to the models and comeing out with all kinds of BS to kid em into doing a "shoot" with them.
And the new people to it belive em too, guess no reason not to if they not been warned.
Really gets me wound up, dirty old mervs...

Seriously though, the fake pervy snapers even wear magazine t-shirts so they can try n convince em they work for the mags!
After a lil while at TRAX we got the bouncers to not let anyone into our paddock if they had a big "pro" camera as there was so many dirty merv fake snappers there!
They dont take any notice of the cars, they there purely for the birds!
One walked round all day with his flys undone too

what were the questions you wanted answering??
If it is a respected photographer your after then why not contact a few modelling agencies that have a decent name and ask them who they would recommend you use to have a portfolio created.
They are going to want you to have decent ones done incase you are the next big thing and they get a pop at managing you, so should be helpful.
Get a few of them and then pop in and see them, look at the studio, the photographer and ask to see some of his/her work.
Then look at cost and who you feel most comfortable with, after all, they are only there to take the shots, it is then up to you to take your portfolio to agencies etc or just to have them as a keep sake, although I get a feeling that is not the case!
Keep them covered up, furthest i would suggest is a tastful underwear shot, that will be enough for an agency to work from.
