Default My mates new car's (updated pics 9/2/06)

F reg 4x4 one is standard i think with 85k on the clock. It runs as well. Has had a new bonnet and boot from ford.
CDZ 4x4 one is an ex police car with 65k on the clock. Motorsport shell aparently. Has a very clean set of dark blue cloth recaro's. Two heads in the boot with all the other bits of the engine. Also came with 4 grey injectors and a 420bhp chipped ecu. There is a full set of 2wd wheels and full set of 4x4 wheels. Been told the motorsport shell is slightly thicker metal or something, anyone know for sure? My mate found out about these from the postman who said they had been sitting at a local farm for years.

The F reg one was converted to 4x4 years ago but I never realised. By the time he sells everything off and builds the CDZ 4x4 it will have cost around Ł1500 as everything is in the boot to fix it. Rastas, it was scotland. Where about was the one you saw sitting? These ones were in aberdeenshire

There used to be an abandoned saph up near me but I'm sure it was minus an engine. That was up near Maud about 40 miles north of Aberdeen. Bit of a shame to see them in that state

no, the accident happened in 1990 and the car was first registered in 1992 so I am guessing the previous owner bought the number plate from an irish registered smashed BX as it was the tayside police that was the previous owner and i dont think they would buy a private plate

That trim looks the same as what is used in police cars? Not an ex patrol car is it?

Nice one - it does make you wonder what is lying about the farms all over the country eh?

The one I was rebuilding my Bonus on had a mk1 Cortina 2dr with 27k on the clock, dirty but more solid than most 52 plate cars!

And then I found this in a barn a mile from my birds house:

mk1 fiesta van, pretty rare nowadays! Never been welded, one owner from new and totally solid - bargain at Ł20 now safely in our lock up
