Default HELP WITH AN ECU FOR MY RS500 8 injectors?

im currently fitting my new engine into my rs500.it was standard before but the engine going into it has the following;
200 long studded block
knife edged crank
multilayer head gasket
head ported to wrc spec
double valve springs
bd10 cams with verniers.
bronze guides

now it used to be in my old sapphire running 8 green injectors on wrc manifold on p8 ecu with anti lag and nitrous.ive sold the manifold,p8 etc as i was looking to either go with 4 greys or utilise the rs500 manifold and go 8 greens.

can the original ecu be modded to run the 8 injectors or do i need to get another ecu.if so which one and does anyone know of any for sale.i contacted mike rainbird about his p8 but he isnt selling it yet.
i have got a standard l8 ecu knocking about-could that be used?i missed a super 8 set up with loom and boost pot on ebay at xmas

or does anyone reccomend another route ie,4 x greys live mapped or any other ideas.
im a bit stuck now and want to get the car finished soon.

any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
it is an rs500 so i have the t4 and 8 injector manifold.i also have 8 green injectors and 4 greys knocking about.

please help as this will probably get my arse in gear to finish it off.

thanks in advance guys

You could have the L8 modded into a super 8 or mega 8 (Collins) to run 8 injectors...

Or you could have the L8 mapped at MSD or NMS on the greys or even larger injectors..... I think MSD keep 550cc (greys are 503 IIRC) and 830cc injectors in stock.

Its a P8 , super 8 injectors activated , ALS enabled and freshly mapped for my 7.2 Race engine with 2 chips by julian godfrey in November last year , 1 x 103 elf fuel chip and an optimax chip !
Ryan Pestell has the loom as it needed 2 bits of braid replaced and im still waiting to get it back !!!

A year back i paid 800 for a p8 super 8 anti lag ecu.

If you had to do it from a stock ECU...

P8= 350
Sub loom= 50
Super 8 conversion= 600
Anti Lag= 300

Almost worth goin Autronic if you was doin it that way

Thats about how i value it , you do see them come up for sale sometimes but when ive needed one before after all the mods theyre well over a grand !
the loom isn't a mickey mouse sub -loom its a full Pectel 8 injector loom , again quite rare to find , even tho some people make them from scratch i hear . Not sure when im getting it back , if Ryan ses this hopefully he'll repsond and sort it out .

I would go for the Collins ECU with the 8 injector capability, water injection, water spray, anti lag, launch control, shift light, distributorless ignition, and its faster than a Weber marelli P8 ECU

Correct Injector choice depends on expected horsepower output and rated fuel pressure. If sticking with the T4 you can easily get away with a set of 85lbph injectors.

Cost to map is £500
Airinjector driver adds £100
Closed loop adds an additional £270
http://www.motorsport-developments.c...closedloop.htm

Time to complete is 1 full week (Sat - sat ideally) Currently booking April.

IIRC they where a very similar price to the Bosch type injectors (60/70 ish an injector).
