I didnt know this room was here till I saw something Stu said in the General Section. How cool is this!!

I've been a big guy from birth and have always wanted to join a gym but never had the time or the money for one.

Around may of this year I decided I had enough of being big (around 16.5 stone).

With the RST gone I bought a mountain bike and started to cycle to and from work (5 mile round trip). I stopped cycling to work about 4 months ago when it was getting considerable darker and I didnt feel as safe riding to work. This is when I joined allocal gym with a mate of mine. We arranged to go 3 times a week (Mon, Wed and Fri) and we went religiously for about 2.5 months then started to slip a bit. Since then another mate of ours comes too. We are trying to get back into it properly again.

Anyway my plan at the moment is to lose weight and then try and start doing a bit of body building. At the moment I'm weighing in at the tail end of 13 stone which I'm happy about and determined to lose about another stone and a half if I can! I've always wanted a flat stomach!!!

I was happy to see this room here and to see others like me and where we can get motivation from each other!

Well done whoever sorted out this room!!
