Default MK4 Fiesta ideas

Looking for inspiration to what to do with my mk4 fiesta. It sits as a bare shell with minimal rust, the roof cut out to put in rollcage and fibre roof panel. Has anyone carried out a mid-engine conversion on some thing like this? If so what do they handle like with the weight distribution changed? Dont want to just jump in and build something thats not going to drive well. I was thinking along the lines of similar as the clio v6. What would peoples views and opinions be??????

Sounds like an awesome project, I'm a fan of the mk4 as it was my first car!
Not sure on the mid engine, I remember reading somewhere that the Clio v6 suffered with quite twitchy handling but I think that was the phase 1. Thought about a bike engine in the back? Never seen a mk4 with that!

I had thought of a bike engine but the power to weight ratio would be rubbish. I was thinking along the lines of a 2.0 turbo or a st24 with a supercharger. I dont know of what the mid engine would be like to drive?

I'm not sure how far it'd be called "mid engined" the best would be "moved a bit more forward than rear engined" haha. Also not sure on an air feed as it'd soon get pretty hot back there, possibly some kind of ducting/scoop underneath the car? Although not sure what that would do to the aero, might pick the back end up slightly at speed making it twitchy, but that's just theory...

Ducting through the roof and rear windows, then out through the boot. Done.

I've got a mk4 with a 2.0 blacktop and supercharger. Goes well! I'm a massive fan of supercharging over turbos
