Default Cheap induction system (pic)

Hey, just thought I would share this. I bought an induction system off Ebay for £45... It's a universal kit that comes with a cone and piping.

This is what it looks like installed...

(I posted a link and used the show pic option, no idea if it worked)

Was very awkward to fit but overall I think it's great value for money. Just waiting for my crankcase breather filter to come then I'm all set.

What you think? I will get a video done soon to show the sound.

I've been skeptical about these intakes as well but last night I went for a long drive to see if I notice differences and found that when driving slow it takes less pedal to keep it at speed so if anything should reduce fuel cost. Will keep an eye on mpg this week.

I wouldn't think it would drop power as it's breathing fresh air now rather than it's own gasses as well, certainly gets up to speed the same just with added noise =]

fresh air? the way its sitting there its sucking hot air from the engine bay. not good

I meant with it not being connected to the breather pipe from the crankcase anymore. Do see what you mean but to be fair it is sat directly in front of the cold air intake from the original system so that should be blowing air in its general direction ;]

That's what it sounds like anyway. Keeps me happy and that's what cars are for right? Besides getting from A to B
