Default Core Plugs - reasonable price??

Hi, I have taken my Fiesta 1.25 '53 into the garage after much hopping, stalling and misfiring. Turns out the core plugs had rusted through, and there had been leaks into the engine. I'm getting the coils, lead pack, spark plugs and HT (?) replaced today, at a cost of £170 all in, then next week getting the rusty core plugs replaced. I was told this would also cost £170 inc labour and VAT, which seems a lot for one part. They said it was 4-5hrs labour. Does this sound right?
Many thanks.

I had core plugs replaced last March as water was getting in and it has happened again. How long should they last
