hi, i want to replace my standard drivers seat with a racing bucket seat (cobra monaco pro, sparco junior etc..) due to the fact i hate sliding from side to side and being really high up on the standard ones i was wondering if anyone help my with the subframes i need, dont really want to spend £100 plus on one and neither do i want to start fabricating one, so if you have any ideas on how to fit it then they would be really appritiated

oh and its a 2003 zetec

 

To be honest, I know you said you didn't want to, but I think your best bet is to buy some proper subframes (get then 2nd hand if you want them cheaper), its your safety at the end of the day.
