Hi all.

I changed my coolant today, had no problems.
I had a quick look in my haynes manual and it says my car should take 6litres of coolant, I put in just under 4, have I missed something?

Might of been a bit still lurking in the engine... Have you bled it?

 

I think I did, I filled it up, and kept on filling it up until it stayed on max, watched some air bubbles come up to the expansion tank, started it and let it run for a few mins, added a bit more coolant, then went for a drive, then did a final top up when I got home.

 

6 litres INCLUDING heater.

Would that have emptied when I drained the radiator?
