Default 2003 1.4 tdci clutch pedal issue...please help!

Hello,

My dad just bought an 03 1.4 tdci fiesta and when I drove it the other day I noticed the clutch pedal had lots of left & right play. I've tried searching the forums for similar problems and solutions but can't find anything so here I am as a newbie asking for some help!

Any information or pointer towards the potential cause of the problem will be greatly received!

Thanks in advance!

Theres some plastic bushes between the pedal and the pedal box. More than likely one of these is worn or broken. I think Ford sell replacements.
