Mk3 Fiesta electrical problem
Hi all, I need some urgent help with my mk 3 Fiesta if anyone can help....
I Have been having problems starting, appearing to be a discharged battery.
I have fully charged battery off car. Still turns over a bit sluggish but starts.
Battery tests out OK. Charging from alternator checks out OK.
However...
When I switch the lights on, whether side, dip or main the main beam warning light is on and there is a loud buzzing noise from somewhere in the dash area!
Main beam warning light goes off and buzzing stoops when lights switched off.
Any help appreciated, Thank you

It's definately a low level buzzer sound not an "electrical buzz". It appears to be coming from the lower part of the instrument clustewr in the dash.
Problem only started today when about to go out after dark

Following your post I double checked the battery connections, and found I had missed a small lead off the negative terminal when replacing the battery after recharging (during the day) - it had fallen down behind the wiring!
Result - Main beam warning light now out when lights on, ( unless on main beam on of course ) and no buzzer sound coming from the dash!
