Default 1600 or 1900?

Our new project NooNoo has tired piston rings. I was going to overhaul the bottom end. Mate of mine has a 1900 tall block in his garage.

Should I keep it 1600cc or fit this 1900cc bottom end. I'm not interested in going ZVH as I want to keep a CVH in there as that's what it came with.

Just wondering what the benefits pitfalls would be with the 2 types?

dont go for the 1900cvh(more so if its pe)unless it has forged pistons and steel rods
1.6cvh is the easiest and most reliable way

I was kinda thinking of keeping it 1600 like I have with my Escort. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being a blinkered goon.

She will be remaining a 1600 I think
