intercooler frst
Hello,
Next question i have had an intercooler(for free) of a mate of mine. Normally spoken it fits on a Audi TT(180 horsepower). The lenght en hight of this IC is the same as a FRST, but this one is aprox. 0,8 inch( 2 centimetres) thicker and the material is otherwise made, think aluminium but dont know it for sure. If I want to put this IC on my FRST. Do you think this will make any difference to the performance of the car, by example horspower or torque? Already have a 165 chip and another accurator.
cheers

to be honest i dont think it will make much difference, the standard fizzy intercooler is actually quite efficient and it good for up to around 16 psi, to be honest i would stay with the standard one and maybe save a few pennies and go for a front mount, i rekon they are an excellent mod for the can and definately a worthwhile investment.!
