Default Aftermarket Management/Chips? - Brands & Results?

Hi all,

I'm looking into the options regarding management on my Fiesta RS Turbo Engined Escort - i chose the fez lump because it was EFi and it was my intention to eventually take it to silly big power...

I'm now looking into a few different things like:

Unichip - Piggyback management - no idea how successfull it'd be, but its only about a third of the cost of 'proper' management. Anyone tried it?

OMEX 700 - relatively familiar with this, but would welcome views from anyone who's had it. Ideally would like to use the anti-lag option and the launch control but not sure if it'd be better spending more money on a more advanced system like MoTEC or Autronic...

Opinions please?!

The Uni-Chip is good, for 500 quid fitted and mapped etc, but it's ultimately limited to how detailed the factory ECU is. An OMEX will be far more mappable and have more features etc.

The OMEX is AWESOME VFM.

I think it's really gonna have to be OMEX - I think there's a lot to be said for launch control and anti-lag

Lunch control and Anti-Slag are the best inventions ever.

Anti-Lag is awesome. Totally pointless in a FWD Road car, but it sounds soooo cool, especially in tunnels.

I plan on having one of the first anti-lag equipped XR2s
