Default turbo oil return - Sump question

Good evening people,

To fit the Cossie turbo into my Westfield I've had to fit it upside-down. The oil return from the turbo is now lower than the oil return to the bottom of the block.

I'm going to have to move the oil return to the sump. I have a sump off my old CVH 1.6 engine.

Are the sumps the same on the naturally aspirated CVH as with the RS turbo, please?

I thought I'd read that the RST sump is baffled. Some of you must have done this as an upgrade to their engine.

Any recommended part I could use to plug the hole I will make in the block once I remove the return pipe?

Any pitfalls I could come across?

Thanks very much,

Neil

You don't mean that oil is flowing through the turbo core from bottom to top don't you? If you do don't that wont work...
