mk3 fez, escort cos bumper
ok.. i love the look of the escort cos front bumper on a fez.
would fitting this be down to a professional?
i don't mind getting my hands dirty, but fiddly things aren't my strong point..
and where can i said cossy bumper? ebay be the best place to look?
Cheers, Jay.

they can be got from places said above mate, and ebay too, but watch for spider cracks in the gell coat if going second hand, there easy fix but its not a case of fit and go then.
anyway
easy as pie to fit mate, the problems will come with the lights, your have to chop the front panel to allow the lights to fit or mod the lights.
i done a bit of both with mine, i cut a square in the front panel so the indicator light backs would have room, plug i could get to them fairly easy.
i also have made chages to the way there ment to screw in, your ment to use some bit of fiberglass to screw the lights in, i made my own from a bit of stainless sheet, and when i finish doing the car i will have the indicators held in with springs rather than a self tapper through the bottom, which belive me is a right pain the the arse!
dont expect the bumper to be a 100% fit from the box, your have to try it, and prob trim/sand a few areas down, like where it bends froun the front panel and wing etc, so trial fit it and get it fitting 100% spot on before even thinking about getting it painted.
and please mate, try and get it so it fits right, i see so many fiestas with poor fitting bumpers round the head lights and indicators it spolies the cars.
also, i would advise not to have a indicators next to head light as well as in the bumper, that looks proper gash!
i made my indicators next to head lights into side lights as it looks better imo
i fitted my cossie bumper and donw all this back in 99 and even now i still love it, only thing i might do different is fit orange indicators in the bumper, but for now there stay clear.
some pics for you of mine
this is when i fixed it up a while back, you see the plastic clip for spot lights screwed to the bumper, your need these from fords but there cheap, your also see the bracket i made.
after that fix up i painted it up, these were taken about 5-6 months later andabout 2 months before i took it off road to restore it lol
this is how it stands at mo, when it goes back on road it will have cossie washer jets fitted too
still, i think the mk3's look the nuts with cossie bumpers and have advised people how to fit tthem witht he lights etc, hence why i put the pics up as i know your only ask
