Default fiesta zetec s tyres/suspension

Help!!!!Need some advice for my zetec s. I want to know what suspension kits you would recommend for lowering the fez. Im not sure whether to get some eibach springs for around 180 as ive heard these are top notch quality or to go for some gmax springs and shocks which would set me back 250 odd but not sure if these kits are any good. Im willing to pay upto 350/400 total. Also as im lowering and keeping the standard wheels i was thinking to switch to a 45 profile tyre as the standard wheels are 50 and thought it may look better with a lower profile tyre once lowered and be better for performance.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers Steve

Stick to the 50 profile, they're better than a 45 profile unless you're going to get bigger wheels. I have 45 profiles but they're 16's, so I was trying to keep to the same rolling diameter as the standard wheels.

As for lowering, forget the gmax kit - it looks good but your can't won't handle as you want it to.. unless of course you like to dip, dive and bump steer around corners! The eibachs are a very good choice and will work with your standard shocks fine - if however you want to uprate shocks too then get some from Bilstein. Polybushes all around will firm up the ride without making it too harsh on bumps too.
