as you can tell by my name i am very seriously into big bhp figures!!
my car started off at around the 45 bhp mark, until somone pointed out an exhaust called a cherry bomb!?(anyone else heard of them?)i purchased a back box for my car and bolted on(with aid of some sleeving work on the centre section!)took it out for a drive and........i was speechless, big grin from ear to ear!even broke the rear of my headrestless drivers seat!thought i best see what was going on with the power!took it to my local rolling road, and well.........i'll let the figures do the talking!!!...
500 bhp @ 3789 rpm.and 793 lbft of torque @ 1200 rpm!!!!
so without a doubt i would recomend the cherry bomb mod!!

I am insured TPFT and pay £840 with a £250 excess. Couldn't really justify the £1700 they wanted fully comp just because i have phat polished rims and a High peformance exhaust. Haven't told them the peformance as prob wouldn't insure me. As it is i have to keep her in a garage and have a CAT1 alarm. Low Down And Dirty that threads about turbo'd cars mate mines N/A i might clean my carb out soon then put it back on the rollers. I "WILL" get power graph next time..

Dude.............just a thought,if your going to "all" that hassle to take your factory fitment single choke carb off,why not have a look to see what weber can offer on a twin choke perhaps?the gains maybe massive, even more than you've got!! altough the only draw back with this is ,you may have to invest in some serious chassis strengthening, and perhaps some drive shafts from one of those big catterpillar earth movers?

well- from what i gather, hes got a 500 bhp fiesta, running 12 inch wheels, with standard brakes, 0-60 is under 3 seconds. Im quite impressed, ive wasted all this money getting my xr2 up to 150 or so bhp, when all i had to do was fit a cherrybomb!!!

He don't know how to put pic's up on the net, said he was gonna get his mate to do it for him. I can only assume that he's gonna wait untill he' get a dyno print out for the old bus and then put them both up together.
