Is it possible to tune mk4 fiesta 1.3?
Hi to all on the forum.. I think it is really great.
Reason I am writing this post is that I want to little improve my 1996 Fiesta 1.3 (EFI). it has 37kW by default, and I would like to increase that by 5-10 kW. That's all. So, what is the easiest way to achieve this?
Thanks
Vlad

or more realisticly, get a ashley exhaust manifold, a performance air filter, or a swap to set of carbs, a 2.0 throolte bodie (if staying injection,
and if you want to get some proper power, the crossflow bottom end will fitt straight in, so you can bolt a 1700 crosflow bottom end in there and get over 100bhp easily
alternitavly, the series 3 zetec 2.0 will bolt straight in with either a focus loom or after market management, this gives you the scope for an easy 200bhp (nearly 4 times what you have now )

As said, exhaust and filter. If you are good with your hands you could port match your inlet and exhaust manifolds to your cylinder head, whilst you're at it you can get rid of all the casting roughness from the inlet/exhaust ports. This is a very inexpensive way to get a few extra hp
